Full Moon Musings: The Reciprocal Dance of Staying Healed

Hi, there -

The full moon has me thinking about cycles - what we receive, what we give back, how we sustain what we've opened.

I have a piece coming out in the spring edition of Pathways Magazine called "The Reciprocal Dance of Staying Healed." It's about the ongoing negotiation between who you're becoming and the life you're still living. It's the space between your spiritual expansion and the ordinary Tuesdays that still require you to show up.

We glorify the breakthrough moment - the revelation, the transformation, the workshop high. But what about the phase that comes after? The one where you figure out how to actually sustain the shifts? There are no dramatic before-and-after photos for choosing your practice on a chaotic morning; no viral testimonials about the Tuesday you honored what your system actually needed instead of what you thought you should do.

But the actual healing lives in that reciprocal work of sustaining.

Reciprocity here is about the dance, the relationship between you and your practice. Some days you show up with full presence and the practice gives you exactly what you need. Other days you can barely manage a gesture toward your commitment, yet the practice still holds you. That exchange - the willingness to keep coming back, however imperfectly - is what allows the shifts to sustain over a lifetime.

This idea of building sustainable practice showed up powerfully in my recent work facilitating the Akashic Records workshop. Participants shared reflections like "Learning the Oasis Method awakened my soul" and "I gained confidence in my own spiritual connection, and my ability to use my spiritual gifts to be of service to others." One person said they learned "how easy it is to access an amazing resource like guidance from the divine." Witnessing people step into their own Records and begin building their own practice - not just experiencing a one-time breakthrough but actually creating sustainable infrastructure for ongoing connection - reminded me why this work matters. If you attended, thank you for being part of that reciprocal field. For those interested in joining the next cohort, I'm leaning towards late spring - details coming soon.

And speaking of sustaining practices: I've been refining how I think about my shamanic work, clarifying the frameworks and wisdom I've gathered through my training and practice. I'm sensing into sharing more of these thoughts with you in future musings - the cosmologies, the energy dynamics, the practical tools for working with spirit and self.

Until then, I’m honored to walk this path alongside you.
